How lo Link your existing Mode account to a new device

Once you have already activated your mode application on one device, you might want to “link” that account to a new device so that you can read and answer messages from multiple spots. (think of having your mode instance on your Desktop as well as on your mobile).

To do this you will need

-         A Mode app that has already been activated (preferably on Desktop but not mandatory)

-         An installed but inactivated Mode app on a different device.

Steps:

1) On the secondary device, open of the newly installed app and, at the bottom of the screen, you will have the option to “Link this device”. Click that and then move to step 2.

2) Open your existing, activated Mode app. Then go to Settings > Devices > Link. You will be presented with a QR code and Seed words, both methods can be used.

3) Using the new device, scan the QR code from the old device to create the link. (You can alternatively use the Seed words. Such as when you Link a Desktop app to an existing Mobile one)
