How to reset an Admin’s 2FA

A Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a great way to secure one's login to the Mode Portal. It may happen that a fellow Admin might need to have it reset though. Here is how to do this.

(note that if the Admin has properly set-up his security questions he can reset his 2FA on his own).

  • Access the Admins table via the side menu.
  • In the table, find the Admin who requires a 2FA reset.
  • Open the three-dot menu for that Admin.
  • Select Reset 2FA.

Next time that Admin will login to the Portal they will be presented with a new 2FA setup page.
