How to Clear and/or Delete an Existing Chat
If needed, you can manually delete a chat or clear a conversation between you and the contact by:
DESKTOP
You can delete a chat by using any of the following steps:
- Going to the 3 dots menu on the top right corner, select ‘Delete Chat’.
- Right click on the message and select ‘Delete Chat’.
- Go to the contact’s profile and select ‘Delete Chat’.
You can also clear your conversation by:
- Going to the 3 dots menu in the top right and select ‘Clear chat history’.
- Go to the contact’s profile and select ‘Clear chat history’.
ANDROID
You can delete a chat(s) by using any of the following steps:
- Long hold down on a chat and select the ones you wish to delete, then tap on the “delete” button at the bottom.
- Going to the contact’s profile page and selecting “Delete chat” or "Clear chat history".
iOS
You can delete a message by using any of the following steps:
- Swiping left on a message and tapping on "Delete".
- Long hold on a message and selecting the message(s) you wish to delete, tap on "Delete" at the bottom right corner.
- Going to a contact’s profile page and select "Delete chat" or "Clear chat history".
