Call Settings

You may adjust/customize the following call settings through your Mode app by going to your Avatar logo > select Settings > Voice & Video:

VIDEO & MICROPHONE (DESKTOP ONLY)
  • Under Video > Camera and Microphone > Input, you can select in the drop-down menu which video and microphone source you use for your Mode calls. Call input volume can also be adjusted in this section.
  • Speaker > Output Device allows you to select your output source.

DESKTOP

  • You can automatically set your speaker on mute when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Start calls muted’ in Settings > ‘Voice & Video’

ANDROID & iOS

  • You can automatically set your speaker on mute when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Privacy’ > Start Calls Muted’

START CALLS WITH VIDEO DISABLED
DESKTOP
  • You can automatically set your video to be on when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Start calls with Video Disabled’ in Settings > ‘Voice & Video’
ANDROID & iOS
  • You can automatically set your video to be on when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Privacy’ > Start Calls with Video Disabled’

RECORDINGS (DESKTOP ONLY)
You can select where your recordings be saved by:
  1. Going to Recordings in your ‘Settings’ screen.
  2. Under ‘Store Recordings in’, selecting on down arrow next to file path to change your save to location at any time.
  3. You can access your saved recordings by selecting ‘Open’ under ‘Store Recordings in’.
