Call Settings
You may adjust/customize the following call settings through your Mode app by going to your Avatar logo > select Settings > Voice & Video:
VIDEO & MICROPHONE (DESKTOP ONLY)
- Under Video > Camera and Microphone > Input, you can select in the drop-down menu which video and microphone source you use for your Mode calls. Call input volume can also be adjusted in this section.
- Speaker > Output Device allows you to select your output source.
DESKTOP
- You can automatically set your speaker on mute when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Start calls muted’ in Settings > ‘Voice & Video’
ANDROID & iOS
- You can automatically set your speaker on mute when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Privacy’ > Start Calls Muted’
START CALLS WITH VIDEO DISABLED
DESKTOP
- You can automatically set your video to be on when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Start calls with Video Disabled’ in Settings > ‘Voice & Video’
ANDROID & iOS
- You can automatically set your video to be on when you join a call by toggling this feature ON/OFF under ‘Privacy’ > Start Calls with Video Disabled’
RECORDINGS (DESKTOP ONLY)
You can select where your recordings be saved by:
- Going to Recordings in your ‘Settings’ screen.
- Under ‘Store Recordings in’, selecting on down arrow next to file path to change your save to location at any time.
- You can access your saved recordings by selecting ‘Open’ under ‘Store Recordings in’.
